Grandpa Rob comes to visit!

more to come...

Mr. Hair Cut is 17 months old...

Saying "Cheese" with a mouth full of peach candy rings.

Go Lions!!!

Well, the closest Detroit Loins gear we have found so far has been these PJ's from Wal-Mart. They are kind of close right!?!? At any rate, they sure do inspire some living room football.
Go Uncle John!

(Oops, sometimes we forget we're on the same team!)

In case you are not with us...

Now that Angie and John have moved to Detroit, I assured them I would do a better job of updating our blog. Here are a few of our memorable moments from the past few weeks.

Aunt "Ang" and the boys...during her visit with us just before she left for Detroit. The kids CANNOT get enough of her.

"Typical"
(In honor of our late Grandpa Harold's birthday this past Friday.)

Who couldn't love this face!?!?

Fun with Grandma "D" who came to visit us last weekend. Grandpa Rob is coming tomorrow!

This is the most precious little head tilted smile Carson does when he's trying to be extra sweet. Now, I just wish it would last! hehe

Be present.

I'm not sure if I'm venting or sharing, but just wanted to make quick mention about fully appreciating the people in my live. My sister (and very best friend) came to stay with us for 5 days. It really is the small moments with the people you love who make life great. Although, we won't see each other again for a while now, I'm thankful for technology making communication so available. And, on a more somber note, one of my good friends lost her father this past week. Life is very fragile. I'm so thankful for my parents (and parents-in-law) and strive to deeply cherish every moment and memory I have with them. (Love you too, brother!)

Thought for the week:
Living my life working to more fully appreciate the present.

Love,
AK

P.S. My classes have started again, so my posts may be sparse. I'll do my best. :)
