Birthdays and Teeth

Today we hosted Carson's great-grandma Wilma's birthday party. It was complete with 8 adults and 4 great-grandchildren (all under the age of 1)! It is a joy to celebrate someone who sparkles with life and love for her family. (Wilma with cousins Trindan and Shelby)

Carson's second bottom tooth came in today. Yea! Just for the record, his newest trick is making motor boat noises. He is so proud.

The Kisling's Top 10 (at Random)

1. Brock, his dad and friend, Curtis, were all successful in their turkey hunting last weekend. Everyone came home with a tail fan, beard and Thanksgiving dinner. Yum yum!

2. Carson and I enjoyed our visit with my parents and brother.

3. Carson does not enjoy being away from his bed and all things familiar. (He acted how I usually feel when away from home for very long.)

4. Our little man now has 1 bottom tooth and another on the way. He also rolled over from his back to tummy for the first time on Saturday. Danielle as his witness.

5. Brock has two weeks of track remaining and we have exactly one month of school left!

6. I may have the opportunity to work part time next year.

7. Warmer weather finally has allowed us to start spending time in our yard. Carson loves being outside too. We go for many walks.

8. I'm so thankful for my family. What a blessing to be able to be surrounded by those you love and who love you everyday. Sometimes I forget to appreciate the small things.

9. I've decided to make a conscious effort to recycle more things. I'm encouraging my family to become a bit more "green".

10. We are going to celebrate Brock's grandma Wilma's birthday this weekend. She is such a special person to us.

Hi Everyone, this is an attempt to organize 'Mommy Time' this summer. We are thinking of sticking with Tuesdays at 10. Please just make a "Comment" and let me know the day you would most like to host. I will do my best to keep the schedule current. Since, this blog is not secured, I will not list too may details, mainly just who is hosting and a vague description about where we plan to meet.
