Recent Update...

For those of you who have not heard, my grandfather Harold Hellbaum passed away on March 9th, 2007 at the age of 80. Our family was fortunate to be together to grieve, laugh, and reminisce. Thank you to all of you who cared, offered encouragement, and thought of us this past week!

On a lighter note, it was also a special time to visit with those we have not seen in a long time. And I think, if I am calculating correctly, Brock was able to visit with almost EVERY relative I have, ON BOTH SIDES of the family. I know he felt touched. :) (Thanks for being a great sport! I owe you one!!)

I really do have a stunning family!

And yes, I did turn 24 that day. Thank you to cousin Dan Birdsell, who honored me with a chocolate chip cookie with a carrot candle.

Brock and I were very fortunate that his (our) good friend, Bernard Gardner, purchased an outstanding "cabin" near Dubois. We had a great time spending time with friends. There are many of you that were wanting to check out the "digs"...This hardly does it justice...
