Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday we took a family outing to the Son Harvest Pumpkin Patch. Brock was in search of his perfect pumpkins for his '08 carving masterpiece. Carson thought the "pumps" (which his dad taught him to say) were really neat. We all enjoyed a perfectly crisp fall afternoon.

Elk Hunting 2008

I will do my best to report on Brock's elk hunt...he will add more details later.

Brock, with his dad as his hunting partner, was able to bring down a 6-point elk on the Red Desert last Wednesday. Brock said it was average for the area, but not the 'big boy' they had spotted earlier that day. Due to Brock's bum knee, they decided this one would do.

Our Latest Big Announcement!

Yes, it is true! We are expecting another baby. Carson is due to have a sibling on April 20th. We were surprised, yet very excited. Mama is now into the second trimester, so I am feeling great again. (Just a bit drowsy and nauseous in the evenings during the first few months.) So yes, Uncle Mike, your predictions were correct! We will keep you posted as things progress.
