Carson Turned 3

Seems like just a short time ago we were bringing this little man home from the hospital...he brings so much joy to our lives. He never ceases for a dull moment and is always looking for an opportunity to laugh or make someone else laugh. Still goes through life at max speed and is up for about anything. We have had the most fun watching his personality and interests develop.
A few of his choice phrases at age 3 include"
"You want a piece of me!?!?!"
Refers to himself as "my". ie. "My really likes that."
"So dad, how was your day at school today?" (Of which he asks everyday when his dad gets home.)
"My really lubs my wittle brover."
"My just lub my mom."
Nothing more precious than a little boy. God has truly blessed us!

Happy Halloween 2010

Trick-or-treating on Main Street...Carson the Lion

Caden the Puppy

The lines were so long for candy we decided to take the fast lane. :)
Luckily at this age, 8 pieces of candy is a great haul!!!
Halloween night...Carson the Baseball Player--in the uniform that Carson's great-great grandma made for Grandpa Rob when he was Carson's age. A true relic!
(Thank you, Aunt Becky!)

Waiting for our own trick-or-treaters

Cade declares Halloween his favorite holiday full of all of his favorite things. Yummy!

Trick-or-treating at Granny and Papa's.

Artists

Nearly every morning the boys enjoy an art projects. They are quite attentive to their tasks. It's fun for me (as a teacher) and mom to see these little minds soaking up all things new, just like little sponges. Praise God for the opportunity to learn new things. How liberating--for the young and old alike. Happy creating!

The big boy has arrived!

Need I say more!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, how about just a little bit more.
(Just practicing, however.)

Too cute not to post:

Go Lions!, part 2

So who could have imagined that Brock's Barry Sanders jersey he has kept since childhood would be brought back to life?!? We are thinking we'll change the last name on the back (with some athletic tape) for his actual Halloween costume. :) And, thanks to Carson' friend Bryshawn for the helmet and pads. Carson is darn excited!

Getting ready for the "game" at 10:15 pm. Hmm..

Dad, "I can't wait until you're actually wearing this stuff for real!!"
Ah...before we know it he will be.

Danielle's new baby, Bella.

Our kids cannot stop talking about her. :)

Grandpa Rob comes to visit!

more to come...

Mr. Hair Cut is 17 months old...

Saying "Cheese" with a mouth full of peach candy rings.

Go Lions!!!

Well, the closest Detroit Loins gear we have found so far has been these PJ's from Wal-Mart. They are kind of close right!?!? At any rate, they sure do inspire some living room football.
Go Uncle John!

(lateral pass...)

(Oops, sometimes we forget we're on the same team!)
