Carson Meets Wendy

Carson is showing quite the interest in feeding himself with adult sized utensils. We decided that allowing him to practice on a Wendy's frosty would be perfect. :) Oh what fun! Don't worry he did enjoy his chicken nuggets and french fries first.

Just A Little Longer, Mom...Please!

The many tastes of nature.
Very intrigued by pieces and parts.
Carson and the neighbor "pup", as he says, have a special relationship. They enjoy howling at each other over the fence, nearly every afternoon.

Outside Fun!

There is no guy in town who has enjoyed the warm, almost spring like, days we have had this week more than Carson. A boys after his daddy's own heart, that is for sure! Fencing in the remainder of our back yard has now moved to the top of the priority list.

A Tribute to the Best Husband Ever!

We celebrated Brock's (29th) birthday and Valentine's Day last night with his family. I forgot my camera and did not get a picture of our dinner out, but hopefully I will be able to borrow one from Susan. We were able to celebrate Brock's birthday a few days late after his long, grueling day at a wrestling tourney. We love you, Brock! Oh and by the way, here is just a piece of the "love" that Brock gave me this Valentine's. I am embarrassed to mention how many times I have stopped to smell them. Their vibrancy reassure me that spring is going to come again. The best part, though, they are from the greatest man I know.

31 Weeks! (9 more to go...)

Yes, getting bigger! It is hard to believe we are nearing the end. I have haven't been as diligent with my bi-monthly belly photos this time. Apparently, I'm too busy photographing Carson. (He is much cuter than my stretchmarks anyway!) We are so thankful for how smoothly this pregnancy has gone so far.
*For those of you who have asked, we have nearly everything we need as far as baby gear is concerned. However, we did overlook a few items last go round. So, I've set up a mini-baby registry at www.amazon.com. If you are interested, simply go to 'baby registry' and it is under "Aftann Hellbaum" or "Brock Kisling"...my amazon account was set up years ago.

Pictures of Pictures

Carson Taylor--13 months old

Carson's Latest

The nude! Awaiting his most beloved bath time.
(And, he can run so much faster without clothes.)

This what I refer to as his "stink face". He's becoming awfully demanding in his old age. :) (Hmm...I wonder where he gets that...)Wrestling with Daddy

Carson's first baseball cap...Brock was "training" him how to leave it on.
And meet our climber...

So proud!
Unfortunately, we've seen a bit more blood and a few more bruises lately...

Then Came Ang...

My sister came to visit while poor John had to return to Buffalo for an ankle scope. How great to have her here! Carson won't be too thrilled when his life returns to just his boring old mom and dad.

Rule #5: Kisses are only for moms, grandmas, and aunts. No pretty girls!

Hmmm....and I wonder why he likes her better...

Carson may have gotten his love of books from Aunt Ang...

And she cooks like a pro! Thanks for spoiling us!!

Can't wait until you can come again...xoxo

We're Back!

First it was my computer, then my modem died. But, I'm happy to report all is working well now.

But anyway... Wheatland girls came up to play Lander on January 30th. My cousins, McKenzie and Danielle, were the starts of the show (if you ask me). WHS came way with a one point victory. Yea! My parents came on Thursday. Bruce, Cathy and Holly stayed in Riverton Friday night and they came to visit us on Saturday over my mom's fabulous lunch. It was so great to have them all here!

Carson had such a great time...not to be ignored for a second. Loving on Grandma C's jungle gym Back for more love.

Reading about "cat, cat, cat, cat, cat, cat...."

A happy, happy boy!

Nose blowing...Carson's newest talent.
