Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day we took a day trip to check out Louis Lake above Lander. We had high hopes of enjoying a picnic on the shore, but instead enjoyed a lunch in the trusty mini-van (another reason I love it!) due to 50 degrees and a 40+ mph wind. We then mosied home and checked out the historical sites at South Pass City and Atlantic City. We had a great day!

Our family.

Daddy and his boys.

Carson and the canoe.
Baby brothers.

Our picnic in the van.

Brock built Carson the neatest slide...we spend lots of time in our backyard.

The debate over who is really in charge.

It's really more fun to go down the slide on your knees.

Dad's #1 Fan!

Tis' the season...

...for home improvement.

One of our last projects to tackle in our house, was the infamous "blue room". A space that had once been an attached garage and then turned into a bedroom in the late 60's we think. As we began to tackle the lovely area, I felt badly for our guests who have politely endured the dust, cracks, and smelly carpet. Sorry! We now have a lovely master bedroom, that my talented husband poured his blood, sweat, and elbow grease into. (I tried to help, when the boys would allow.) And to let you all know, we now have a guest bedroom that is quite stylish if I do say so myself. ;) Now, please come visit!

And After...yea!
*complete with newly texturized walls, new windows, new carpet, new paint, new hardware, repurposed ceiling fan, new electrical outlets, and crown molding.

Yes, Caden's bed came along too.

Once again, another beautiful creation by Brock!

Caden 2 months old!

8 weeks = 2 months?
Nearly...on the 21st of June he will be!
Where has the time gone?

Our happy little wild man.
He is very alert, loves his big brother, eats well (weighs around 14 lbs), loves to cuddle, goes with the flow, and thinks 4:30 am is when the day starts. Uggg!

We love him anyway...but really hopes he turns into the good sleeper that his brother is.

His cute little rolls!
"Okay mom, that's enough pictures."

I thought that Caden might be our laid back little brother...I'm not thinking that is going to be the case. He seems to be quite the "go-getter" already.

Family...at its finest!

All ready for church...
(I believe this is where the idiom, "sorts in a bunch", came from. Sorry Cars...hehe)

Posing!

Just too tired...

A Kisling Family Function
I feel badly that I usually forget to snap shots of our get togethers.

I feel so blessed have such wonderful in-laws! Really!

Where it all began...great grandma and grandpa, Wilma & Scott

Daddy with his littlest boy.

Grandpa Bud and Grandma Suz with the boys.

(Getting everyone to cooperate is quite the daunting task!)

Uncle Matt & Aunt Amy...and our very first little girl cousin
*Who arrived today, April 17th!
We can't wait to meet her!

What we do for fun...

Ahhh, my boys are BOTH napping (at the same time) so I finally have a second to update our blog. We have been having the best summer break so far despite the rain and cool temps. We haven't been doing much and thankful for it!

My sleepy little stroller boys.
(Our double stroller really has revolutionized my life!)

Caden totally enthralled with his big bro.

Jason Peck comes to visit.
(He'd better not be teaching our boys bad habits. ;0 )

Caden and I spent the last two weeks teaching summer school.
The Beer's boys took wonderful care of the little man. Thank you!!

First love...Carson and Olivia Gardner were quite taken with one another.
(Cute now...in 16 years...look out!)
