Our weekend with family & an attempt to take family pictures. HAHA!

Here we are.
This is really how we operate.
(I keep hoping that if I start now and continue to try to capture a picture where everyone is looking forward and smiling maybe I will have ONE for the Christmas card in December.
Good luck!)
Our cousin, baby Addison.

So big!

Caden and his good pal, Jordan.

Taking in some mountain air.

On Saturday we went at spent the day with Bud and Susan at their camping site above Dubois. It's good for the soul to slow down and appreciate God's creation. No place better to do so than in the mountains...

Caden is 4 monts old!

So hard to believe that our baby Cade is already 4 months old. How time flies when you are having fun. He is such a smiley, happy, go with the flow baby. He now sleeps well, eats well, and rarely cries. He loves being held and talked to and has a smile for everyone. Cade is also quite the chatter box. He is particularly fond of playing under his jungle gym, watching his big brother, and being outside. As of last Friday, Caden weighs 17 lbs 4 oz and is 25 inches long.
A healthy, growing boy. We are so thankful!

4 months old.

This is where I sleep.

Tried cereal for the first time last night and liked it!

Having fun with our good friend Taya.
She stayed with us for a few days this week.

Smile!

Fun with Grandma & Grandpa Kisling

Fishing in the backyard.

Sharing a 'pop' with "gama" Susan.

Still loving popsicles.

Papa Scott

One of Caden's favorite napping spots is on Granny's lap.

Life doesn't get any better than this!

Aren't they worth it!

A new door has opened...

As of this past Monday, I am now a full-time mommy. After much soul searching, Brock and I decided that our children needed me more than my teaching job right now. I am so thankful to be able to spend daily life with my little ones and to be able to take life at their speed. I am also incredibly thankful for a husband who supports my decision and commitment to making life the best it can be for our kids. Although, my new life will definitely be an adjustment (in pace and financially), I have taken an oath against complaining. I am also excited to be caring for my best friend's precious little boy, Jordan. He and Carson are only 3 months apart in age and make great play pals. So, if you are in town, I'd love to see you and engage in adult conversation. I'm also available to chat on the phone daily between 12 and 3pm--during nap time--but otherwise, my new 'clients' need me full time. Life is good!
