Caden: One month old and all smiles!

Caden was one month on the 21st and I am finally just getting around to reporting all of his accomplishments. :) Needless to say, I don't find myself having an excess of down time. Anyway, Cade was 11lbs 8oz and 23 in long at his check up. He is very happy, laid back, and alert. He is luckily sleeping better at night now; getting up once between 10 and 5:30.
We do love our baby brother!

Brothers...

We really have come a long way in a short months time... (thankfully!)

A trip home...

We took our first trip to Chugwater with the two boys on May 15th to be a part of Danielle's graduation celebration. It also worked out where we were able to spend time with Angie and John. My grandparents were also able to meet Caden for the first time. We are planning to come stay in Chug for about three weeks...June 28th thru whenever harvest is complete or we have to start school again.

And an Ode to the Uncles...

What we do for fun...

We love it when our friends come over to play...

Pretending that it is summer...

(Carson now says "cheese" when I take his picture. hehe)

Caden loves his bath time.

It is the most fun when we get to spend time with Granny and Papa!

Aunt Angie came to visit!

My sister, Angie, came to stay with us for a week to help man my troops. It was so wonderful having her, as our time together is now a lot less than we would like. She was tremendous help and Carson thought that I hired him a personal attendant. Thanks so much for all that you did for us. Can't wait until you and John can come stay again! xoxo

Uncle John came to pick up Angie and to meet Caden at the end of the week.

Lots of Love!

For the first few days Carson was not sure he liked the idea of having a brother. However, after a few rough days of learning how to be gentle, he decided they might be able to be friends one day. We are praising the Lord that Carson has gone without hitting for nearly 4 consecutive days. Caden is especially thankful.

Brotherly Love

(I've actually been so spoiled with wonderful help...now if only I could find someone to nurse during the night shift. :) )
